Zap
I was born and raised on a farm in Saskatchewan. Why my parents didn’t go to the hospital is anybody’s guess. At five years old, I decided that the farm life wasn’t for me after relentlessly being chased by a rooster that made me scream and cry while my family would watch with glee. My mom and sister still delight in telling this story! I then headed for the bright lights of Calgary and enrolled in Clown College.
Fast forward a few years…I’m married to the amazingly wonderful Mrs. Zap and we have one incredible son, Young Zap. I’m a typical family guy, minus the talking dog, and have two cats named Carter and Izzy. When not spending time with my family, I can be found online getting pwned by little kids on Call of Duty. Hobbies include: drinking coffee.
Katie
Hi! I’m Katie! After trying a lot of different careers including but not limited to chef, house painter, and amateur tattoo artist, I swindled my way into a job at QX104 after a chance encounter at a bar! After a couple of years learning the ways of radio you can now hear me 2-7 weekdays at QX104!
When I am not at work at the station, I am learning new tricks with my dog Stella, cooking great food with friends, or starting (but rarely finishing) LOTS of different art projects!
Weekdays at 3pm, Zap & Katie “Ask the QX Nation”!
