Nashville Could Host the 2030 Super Bowl – Will We Finally Get an All-Country Halftime Show?
Nashville is a top contender to host the 2030 Super Bowl, and if it happens, we might finally get the all-country music halftime show fans have been waiting for!
The last time we saw an all-country performance was in 1994 at Super Bowl XXVIII, with Clint Black, Tanya Tucker, Travis Tritt, and The Judds. Since then, country music stars have made appearances, but never with a fully country-themed show. Shania Twain’s 2003 performance featured special guests like No Doubt and Sting, and the Dixie Chicks sang the anthem, but the country focus wasn’t fully there.
With Luke Combs already expressing interest in headlining, there’s hope that 2030 could bring the full country experience!
Imagine a lineup with Morgan Wallen, Ella Langley, Carrie Underwood, and Cody Johnson joining him.. It’s been years since we’ve had a true country halftime show — we’re long overdue for this!
Carrie Underwood already sings the Sunday Night Football theme song, so it’s only fitting to get her on board. And we can’t forget about her song ‘The Champion,’ featuring Ludacris, which was used as a special anthem for NBC’s Super Bowl LII.
Do you think this dream lineup could come together? If Nashville gets the Super Bowl, country music fans are in for a show to remember!
