Brody Jackson
It all started at a high school in Killarney, Manitoba, where a young and very nervous Brody was carried into an audition room to try out for a role in the school’s production of “My Fair Lady”. After he landed a small role, the minute he took the stage, Brody was hooked on the world of entertainment and found a passion for providing people an escape and making them smile. An attempt at an acting career in Vancouver somehow turned into a career in broadcasting and brought Brody back to Manitoba. The morning show host is known for his positivity and glass half full approach to life, dedicating much of his time to charitable and community events. Brody has also been an in game host with the Winnipeg Jets for the over a decade where he’s able to get his winter sports fix. Now a proud father of two, if you can’t find Brody at the QX104 studios or Canada Life Centre, there’s a good chance he’s stuck in a tunnel slide at a neighbourhood park.
Karly Troschuk
Hey, I’m Karly! Raised in St. Andrews, MB. I basically grew up on the golf course and am an avid although inconsistent golfer. As soon as winters hit I was a rink rat and have been playing hockey as a goalie since I was 7. My favorite sports teams are the Winnipeg Jets (of course) and the Toronto Raptors.
Although I don’t have children, I have two dogs I treat like children. I’ve always been incredibly passionate about animal welfare and love to spend time helping and promoting various local rescues and sanctuaries.
The first concert I ever attended was Shania Twain in 1999 at the Winnipeg Arena. My mom won the tickets on the radio and I have vivid memories of that day. She’s still the one for me.
I’m not ashamed to admit that I’m a member of Bachelor Nation, which basically means I enjoy watching trash TV.
I wear my heart on my sleeve and my lipstick on my teeth.
