Pollock’s Hardware Co-op: Located in the North End of Winnipeg, Pollock’s hires students and employees from the neighbourhood, works with non-profits and small businesses in Winnipeg, sells locally made products from artists and vendors and hosts community events. As a cooperative, Pollock’s is owned by almost 4000 members and serves a much broader community. In a time where many businesses went out of business, Pollock’s worked really hard to continue providing their community with what they need! Loreen calls it the perfect little spot to go for friendly, personal service. It’s a North End staple!
