MEGAN MORONEY’S NEW ERA IS HERE… AND IT’S PINK!
The colour of Megan Moroney’s new era has officially dropped, and yep — she’s going PINK! Her third studio album, Cloud 9, is coming February 20th, and it already sounds like it’s going to be her biggest (and boldest) chapter yet!
Megan shared a super heartfelt message about the project, saying:
“I am so excited for my fans and I to dive into this new world of Cloud 9 together. Similar to the first two albums, it’s all written about honest, personal experiences, but these songs were written by the strongest, most confident version of myself I’ve ever been. My feet feel firmly planted in my artistry and it was fun to play around sonically, while still sticking to my roots of what my fans and I love. Cloud 9 is a state of mind, and I have no doubt this will be the best chapter yet.”

Now, let’s talk about how the announcement went down because… genius. It all started over the weekend when Megan posted “Goodbye Blue,” switched her profile pic to black and white, and even “shut down” her website.
Naturally, fans immediately turned into detectives trying to figure out what she was up to — and honestly, they cracked the code fast.
Between all the cloud emojis, the number 9 popping up everywhere, and her recent pink-themed outfits, fans pieced together the clues: the album would be called Cloud 9, and the colour of this new era would be pink. And yep — they were 100% right! Someone give these fans a trophy (or a job at the FBI).
We’ve already gotten a taste of this new era with her singles “6 Months Later” (which dropped back in June and instantly became a fave) and the gorgeous “Beautiful Things” in October. Both songs are pure Megan — honest, emotional, and so catchy.
Oh, and did we mention she’s up for six CMA Awards this year, four around her album Am I Okay! Talk about living her Cloud 9 moment already!
So yeah — it’s official: Goodbye Blue, hello PINK!
