4 Fire Fighters , a Roof and a Drafty Tent!
Nine years running and Winnipeg fire fighters will again take to the roof to raise money for Muscular Dystrophy. Next Tuesday, Alan Bartley, Connor Normandin, Eric Dyck and Rhema Indojine will volunteer in the 2018 Fire Fighter Roof Top Campout for Muscular Dystrophy. Seventy two hours of Spartan surroundings , living in a drafty tent on top of the Osborne fire station to raise funds for M.D. Research.
They’ll stay busy with fitness classes, pedicures , massages and more. Meals will be provided by surrounding businesses and supporters alike. Campers have even lugged M.D. kids and their wheelchairs up to visit , underlining the reason they are there.
During morning and afternoon rush, you’ll see firefighters on the street holding Rubber Boots for us to drop a donation inside . Donate in person at 150 Osborne, online at www.muscle.ca/campout or via Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/WinnipegFirefighterCampout
