Clear Skies will offer a Rare SKY-EVENT tomorrow morning!
The forecast calls for clear skies over Manitoba so we should get the Best “ Blue-Blood Moon” view in the country. A total LUNAR eclipse over Winnipeg will occur tomorrow morning beginning @ 4:51 am.
The National Geographic calls it a cosmic three-for-one deal ; the second super -size full moon in a month , the first time anyone on Earth has seen such a trifecta in 35 years and the first time it’s been seen in the Americas in 150 years.
When the moon reaches full phase it will make an especially close approach to Earth , creating a phenomenon of a SUPERMOON. When the eclipse hits its peak the moon’s face could take on a reddish tone earning a moniker called a Super blue blood moon! FULL phase @ 7:29 will make tomorrow’s Moon appear some 7% bigger and 14% brighter than usual.
